110Ministerial direction may be given to support consistent approach across agencies
The responsible Minister may give 1 or more directions that set requirements for disclosure statements to—
- contain, or link to, additional or more specific information in connection with the matters specified in section 104(1) (in addition to that required by a notice under section 107):
- contain, or link to, other information about specified matters (in addition to any disclosures required under a notice under section 107(3)(b)):
- be in a specified layout or format (which may include requiring a statement, or joint agency statements, to be in a single document or a series of related documents or to be included as part of 1 or more other documents).
The responsible Minister must ensure that, as soon as practicable after a direction is given, the direction is—
- published on an Internet site maintained by, or on behalf of, the New Zealand Government; and
- presented to the House of Representatives.
A direction—
- may apply to the chief executives of 1 or more relevant policy agencies; and
- may be given only if—
- a notice under section 107 is in force; and
- the direction is not inconsistent with any notice under section 107 or with this Act.
- a notice under section 107 is in force; and
