Human Rights Act 1993

Resolution of disputes about compliance with Part 1A and Part 2

92A: Director to notify and report on decisions on representation

You could also call this:

"The Director tells you about their decision and reports to the Minister each year."

Illustration for Human Rights Act 1993

When the Director makes a decision about helping someone with a complaint, you get told about the decision. You also get told why the Director made that decision if they decide not to help. The Director tells the Commission about their decisions and the reasons for them. The Director reports to the Minister each year about the decisions they made, without saying who was involved. The Minister then gives a copy of the report to the House of Representatives.
