Illustration for Human Rights Act 1993

You can get in trouble if you stop someone from entering a place or using a vehicle that the public can use. This includes not letting people use facilities like toilets or shops in those places. You can also get in trouble if you make someone leave a place or vehicle when they are allowed to be there, if this goes against the rules in Part 2. If you break this rule, you might have to pay a fine of up to $3,000. The law considers a vehicle to be not just a car, but also a boat, plane, or hovercraft. This means that the rules apply to all these types of vehicles.
