29Withdrawal of, or amendment to, grant of legal aid: criminal matters

  1. In relation to a criminal matter, the Commissioner may at any time—

  2. withdraw legal aid from, or amend a grant of legal aid to, an aided person if—
    1. the Commissioner is satisfied that the aided person has sufficient means to enable the person to obtain legal assistance and representation; or
      1. the Commissioner considers that the interests of justice no longer require that legal aid be given to the person; or
        1. the aided person requests it; or
        2. amend the conditions on a grant of legal aid (other than the condition referred to in section 18(2)) if the Commissioner considers that the conditions of the grant of legal aid are no longer appropriate.
