You can ask the Review Authority to review a decision made by the Secretary about your approval to provide legal services. This can happen if the Secretary declines your application, imposes conditions on your approval, or imposes restrictions or sanctions on you under sections like section 101, section 102, or section 103. You must lodge your application with the Review Authority within 20 working days of the Secretary's decision. You need to act quickly, but the Review Authority can accept a late application if they think there were exceptional circumstances that stopped you from applying on time. The Review Authority can accept a late application up to 3 months after the Secretary's decision was given to you. This means you have a bit more time to apply if something unexpected happened. The Review Authority looks at your application and decides what to do next. You can apply for a review if the Secretary cancels your approval or imposes any conditions or restrictions on you. This is a way for you to have the Secretary's decision looked at again.
