If you are a member of a statutory entity, you can resign by giving the responsible Minister a written notice. You need to sign the notice and send a copy to the entity. The resignation takes effect when the responsible Minister gets the notice, or at a later time that you specify in the notice. You decide when you want to resign, as long as you tell the Minister in writing.
