The purpose of a statement of performance expectations for a Crown entity is to help the responsible Minister set annual performance expectations. This statement also informs the House of Representatives about these expectations. You can think of it as a way to measure how well the Crown entity is doing its job, by comparing its actual performance to what was expected.
