Crown Entities Act 2004

Establishment and governance of Crown entities - Statutory entities - Conflict of interest disclosure rules

64: Who disclosure of interests must be made to

You could also call this:

"Who you must tell about your interests when you're part of a government group"

If you are a member of a statutory entity, you must tell someone about any interests you have. You must write the details of your interest in a special book called an interests register. You also need to tell the chairperson of the entity, or the deputy chairperson if the chairperson is not available. If there is no chairperson or deputy chairperson, you must tell the responsible Minister. The responsible Minister is the person in charge of the entity, and they need to know about your interests so they can make sure everything is fair.
