192: Existing delegations and directions to continue

If you have a delegation that is already in place for a statutory entity under another Act, it will keep working as if it was made under section 73 of this Act. You can find more information about this in section 73. This means the delegation will continue even though the other Act is being repealed.

If you have a direction that is already in place for a statutory entity under another Act, it will also keep working. This direction will continue as if this new Act had not been made. You will still have to follow the direction.

192Existing delegations and directions to continue

  1. A delegation that is in effect in respect of a statutory entity under a provision of another Act that is repealed by this Act at the commencement of this section continues in effect as if it were a delegation under section 73.

  2. A direction that is in effect in respect of a statutory entity under a provision of another Act at the commencement of this section continues in effect as if this Act had not been enacted.
