"Government Ministers can ask for information about how your team is doing its job."

Illustration for Crown Entities Act 2004

You are part of a Crown entity, which is like a team that works for the government. The team's leaders must give information to the Minister when they ask for it. This information is about how the team is doing its job. You have to give information to the Minister of Finance too, if they ask for it in connection with Part 4. The Minister of State Services can also ask for information, but only to see how well the State services are working. They can only ask a group of teams that have something in common, like the type of work they do. The information you give to the Minister of State Services cannot be used to check on your team's performance. This rule is connected to section 134, which has more details.
