Crown Entities Act 2004

Establishment and governance of Crown entities - Statutory entities - Delegation

75: Effect of delegation on entity or board

You could also call this:

"Delegating tasks doesn't stop you from being in charge or responsible for what your delegates do."

When a delegation is made under this Act or the entity's Act, it does not stop the entity or the board from doing their jobs or using their powers. You are still responsible for what your delegates do, even if you give them some of your tasks. If there are changes in the people on the board or in certain roles, it does not affect the delegation that has been made, you can find more information by looking at the links to ss 41(7) and 42(2).
