2Commencement
Sections 1 to 5, 7, 12, 13, 34 to 43, 87, 89, 92, and 94 and the Schedule (which relate to the Authority, the Registrar, the Tribunal, the development of competency standards and the code of conduct, and related matters) come into force on the day after the date on which this Act receives the Royal assent.
Sections 6, 9, 63, 67, and 68 (which impose the requirement to be licensed as an immigration adviser, and provide for related offences) come into force 2 years after the date on which this Act receives the Royal assent.
The rest of this Act comes into force 1 year after the date on which this Act receives the Royal assent.
