Immigration Advisers Licensing Act 2007

Regulation of immigration advisers - Cancellation and suspension of licence, etc

29: Suspension of licence

You could also call this:

“Your licence can be put on hold for a while”

Your licence can be suspended in two ways. First, if the Tribunal decides to suspend your licence as a punishment. Second, if the Tribunal suspends your licence under section 53 of the law.

If your licence is suspended, you can’t apply for a new licence while the suspension is in effect. This means you have to wait until the suspension is over before you can try to get a new licence.
