Immigration Advisers Licensing Act 2007

Regulation of immigration advisers - Cancellation and suspension of licence, etc

31: Voluntary surrender of licence

You could also call this:

“You can choose to stop being a licensed immigration adviser”

If you have a licence as an immigration adviser, you can give it up whenever you want. You need to tell the Registrar in writing that you want to stop being a licensed immigration adviser.

When you give up your licence, it stops being valid on the date you put in your letter. If you don’t put a date, it stops being valid on the day the Registrar gets your letter.

After you give up your licence, the Registrar might give you back some or all of the money you paid for your immigration adviser’s levy. The Registrar gets to decide if you get any money back and how much.
