95: Immigration Act 1987 amended
You could also call this:
“A part of the Immigration Act 1987 has been removed”
The Immigration Act 1987 has been changed. A part of this act, called Section 142(1)(j), has been removed. This means it no longer exists in the law. This change was made as part of the Immigration Advisers Licensing Act 2007. When a part of a law is taken out, we say it has been ‘repealed’. This is how the government updates laws to keep them current.
