You need to know about the New Zealand Health Plan. Health New Zealand must develop this plan. The plan is to help deliver publicly funded services over three years. You will see it gives effect to the GPS. Health New Zealand must think about other health entities and government agencies when developing the plan. They must consider the roles of agencies like the Cancer Control Agency and the Ministry. They also need to think about non-government agencies and what people want in their local area. The plan is important for your health and wellbeing. Health New Zealand has to make sure it is a good plan. You can find more information about the changes to the plan on the Pae Ora (Disestablishment of Māori Health Authority) Amendment Act 2024 website.
