The Minister has to make a plan called the Rural Health Strategy. You will use this plan to help health organisations improve health outcomes for people living in rural areas. The plan must look at the current health of people in rural areas and how well the health sector is working for them. The plan also needs to think about what will happen to the health of rural communities in the medium and long term. It must set priorities for health services and improvements, including training for health workers. This is not a complete list, and other things can be included in the plan. The Rural Health Strategy is like a framework to guide health entities. You can use it to make sure rural communities get the best health care possible. The Minister is in charge of making this plan happen.
