Provisions that apply to health entities
97Director-General may require information from health entities
For the purpose of monitoring the performance of any health entity or the health sector in general, the Director-General may, in writing,—
- request from a health entity information in relation to any matter; and
- specify a time frame by which the health entity must comply with the request.
The health entity must comply with the request, and if a time frame is specified, within that time frame.
The Director-General must not request under this section any personal health information of any identifiable person.
