Ministerial powers

65Provision of information

  1. The Minister of Finance may, by written notice, require a health entity to—

  2. provide economic or financial forecasts or other economic or financial information relating to the health entity or any or all of its subsidiaries specified in the notice; and
    1. provide that information to the Minister or any person or class of person specified in the notice.
      1. A health entity must comply with a requirement under subsection (1).

      2. No requirement under this section may require the supply of any information that would breach the privacy of any natural person or deceased natural person, unless the person (or a representative of the deceased person) has consented to the supply.

      3. Subsection (1) does not limit sections 133 and 134 of the Crown Entities Act 2004.

      4. Subsection (2) applies despite section 134 of the Crown Entities Act 2004.
