COVID-19 response workers - Extended leave

30JL: Applicable end date for extended leave

You could also call this:

“When COVID-19 workers finish their extended parental leave”

When you’re a COVID-19 response worker, your extended leave has an end date. This end date depends on how long you’ve been employed. If you’ve been employed for at least 6 months but less than 12 months, your extended leave ends after you’ve had 6 months of parental leave. If you’ve been employed for 12 months or more, your extended leave ends after you’ve had 12 months of parental leave. This rule is part of section 27 of the law about parental leave and employment protection.
