8Governing body of Auckland Council

  1. The governing body of the Auckland Council must comprise—

  2. a mayor elected in accordance with the Local Electoral Act 2001; and
    1. no fewer than 5 other members and no more than 29 other members elected in accordance with the Local Electoral Act 2001.
