Local Government (Auckland Council) Act 2009

Auckland Council - Local board plans and agreements

23: Monitoring and reporting

You could also call this:

"The local board checks if their plan is working for your area."

Illustration for Local Government (Auckland Council) Act 2009

The local board you are part of must check how the local board agreement is working in your area. You need to know that the local board agreement is a plan for your local area. The local board must keep an eye on how this plan is being carried out.

The law used to have more rules about this, but some of these rules were repealed on 8 August 2014 by section 77 of the Local Government Act 2002 Amendment Act 2014. This means that these rules are no longer part of the law. You can find more information about this change on the legislation website.
