When the Auckland Council reviews its representation arrangements, it must follow the rules set out in the Local Electoral Act 2001. You can find more information about this in section 19H(2) of the Local Electoral Act 2001. The Council must make its first decision about representation arrangements after the 2013 elections but before 8 September 2018, and then review them again at least every 6 years.
