71: Requirements relating to provisional improvement notices
or “Rules for health and safety reps when giving out notices about possible rule-breaking”

You could also call this:

“Notices can include advice on how to fix workplace safety issues”

When you receive a provisional improvement notice, it might include suggestions on how to fix the problem or prevent it from happening. These suggestions can be about what steps you should take to solve the issue, or they might point out the things or activities that are causing the problem.

The suggestions in the notice can mention an approved set of guidelines. They can also give you different options for how to fix the problem or stop it from happening again.

You don’t have to follow these suggestions exactly, but they’re there to help you understand how to make things better and safer at work.
