Health and Safety at Work Act 2015

Enforcement and other matters - Enforcement measures - Non-disturbance notices

110: Compliance with non-disturbance notice

You could also call this:

“Follow non-disturbance notices or face fines”

You need to follow a non-disturbance notice if you get one. This means you can’t ignore it or refuse to do what it says without a good reason. If you don’t follow the notice, you’re breaking the law.

If you break this law, you might have to pay a fine. The amount of the fine depends on whether you’re an individual or a company. If you’re an individual, you might have to pay up to $50,000. If you’re a company or any other type of organisation, you might have to pay up to $250,000.
