Enforcement and other matters - Enforcement measures - Non-disturbance notices

108: Power to issue non-disturbance notice

You could also call this:

“Inspectors can order workplace managers not to disturb areas for investigation”

An inspector can give you a special notice called a non-disturbance notice if you’re in charge of a workplace. This happens when the inspector thinks it’s necessary to help them do their job of checking if rules are being followed. You might get this notice if you’re a person conducting a business or undertaking (PCBU) and you manage or control a workplace. The notice tells you not to disturb certain things so the inspector can do their work properly.
