145BInterpretation

  1. In this Part, a reference to a parent of a child includes a reference—

  2. to a natural or adoptive parent of the child; and
    1. in the case of a child of the marriage or civil union, to a party to the marriage or civil union who is not a natural or adoptive parent of the child; and
      1. for the purposes of an application under section 145E(b), to a spouse or civil union partner of a parent of the child even though the child to whom the application relates is not a child of the marriage or civil union.
