This section of the law, called ‘Application of FDP ratio’, used to be part of the rules about tax credits and other credits in the Income Tax Act 2007. However, it no longer applies. The government removed this rule on 1 April 2017. This means that you don’t need to worry about what it said before, because it’s not part of the law anymore.
