When you are involved in a trial, things like documents and exhibits are used as evidence. You need to know that these things must be kept safe by the court. The court that keeps them is either the trial court or the appeal court, and they must follow the rules of court. The rules of court also say when these things can be released. You can find more information about this by looking at the rules from 1961.
