You get a notice when you are appointed as the Governor. The notice tells you when you start and how long you are appointed for. The Minister makes sure your details are published in the Gazette. You need to get the notice before you start as Governor. The notice is a written one and a copy goes to the board. Your details are published as soon as possible after you are appointed. The Gazette will have your name, start date, and how long you are appointed for. This is done by the Minister after your appointment. You can compare this to the 1989 legislation.
