84Retiring president may continue as member

  1. In addition to the members provided for by sections 79 and 82, the Council may on the retirement of the president (A) appoint A to be a member of the Council.

  2. A holds office as a member of the Council until some other person who subsequently holds the office of president becomes eligible for appointment as a member of the Council under this section.
