74Other members of Institute

  1. The Council may admit a valuer who is not registered under this Act (A) as a member of the Institute if the Council is satisfied that—

  2. A is of good character and reputation; and
    1. A—
      1. holds a certificate that is or would be recognised by the Board for the purposes of sections 16 to 18; or
        1. has passed an examination or examinations that are or would be approved by the Board for the purposes of sections 16 to 18.
        2. The Council may admit A as a member on the terms and conditions that it thinks fit.

        3. The Council may admit any other person as a member of the Institute if the person meets any other qualification for membership that is prescribed by rules made under section 90(1)(b).
