68 Fees and allowances of members and assessors Remuneration and expenses

  1. A member of the Board or any assessor appointed under section 47(2)(b) or (c) is entitled to be—

  2. paid remuneration by the Board for services as a member or an assessor at a rate and of a kind determined by the Minister in accordance with the fees framework; and
    1. reimbursed by the Board for actual and reasonable travelling and other expenses incurred in carrying out their duties as a member or an assessor in accordance with the fees framework.
      1. For the purposes of subsection (1), fees framework means the framework determined by the Government from time to time for the classification and remuneration of statutory and other bodies in which the Crown has an interest.

      2. A member of the Board is not entitled to receive any remuneration or other payment out of the funds of the Board except as provided in this section.
