Illustration for Valuers Bill

If you are a registered valuer, you must pay a fee to the Board each year. This fee is called the annual registration fee and it is set by regulations. You have to pay this fee by 1 January every year. You might not have to pay the whole fee if you ask the Board and they think it is fair. The Board can refund or waive some or all of the fee if they think it is just. You need to apply to the Board if you want them to consider this. The Board gets to decide if they will refund or waive the fee based on the circumstances. You have to pay the fee until the Board decides what to do with your application. The fee is part of being a registered valuer and it is paid every year.
