The Governor-General can make rules for many things. You will see these rules in a special document. They can be about things like how the register of valuers works. The rules can say how to use the register and what information it must contain. They can also say how much it costs to do certain things, like take an exam or get a certificate. You can find out more about what these rules are in the Legislation Act 2019, specifically in Part 3. The Governor-General can make rules about many other things too, like how the Board of valuers works and what happens if someone breaks the rules. They can even say what fines people might get if they break the rules, up to $1,000. You can also look at section 34 for more information about annual registration fees. Additionally, you can check subpart 4 of Part 2 for details about appeals.
