Companies Act 1993

Voluntary administration - Powers of court

239ADR: Administrator may seek directions

You could also call this:

“Administrator can ask the court for guidance on their duties”

If you’re an administrator or deed administrator, you can ask the court for help. You can do this when you’re not sure how to do your job or use your powers properly.

If you’re a deed administrator, you can also ask the court for help about how to make the deed work or how to follow what it says.

The court can give you directions to guide you in these situations. This means you can get advice from the court if you’re unsure about something in your role.
