Companies Act 1993

Registrar of Companies - Registrar's powers to identify controllers of company

365H: Registrar may specify deadlines, form, and verification for information required under section 365F or 365G

You could also call this:

“Registrar can set rules for providing required company information”

When the Registrar or someone they allow uses their power to ask for information under section 365F or 365G, they can decide a few things. They can tell you exactly how they want the information to look when you give it to them. They can also set a date by which you need to give them the information. Lastly, they might ask you to prove that the information is true. They could do this by asking you to show them the original documents, or copies of the original documents that someone has checked, or by asking you to make a formal promise that the information is true.
