Wildlife Act 1953

General provisions - Miscellaneous

71: Saving of other Acts

You could also call this:

"This law doesn't override other laws unless it says so, and you must follow the rules of other laws too."

This Act does not change other laws, unless it specifically says so. If you want to do something under another law, you need to check if this Act allows it. You must get permission from the Minister of Conservation and the Minister in charge of the other law before you can do something that affects protected wildlife or a wildlife sanctuary. You also need to follow the rules in section 39 of this Act, which says what powers rangers have to enter land. The other laws are listed in Schedule 9, which you can find by following the link to Schedule 9, and some of these laws have their own rules that you must follow.
