"Laws that are no longer valid because of the Wildlife Act 1953"
The Wildlife Act 1953 has a part called Enactments repealed. You can find this part empowered by s 73. This means some old laws are no longer valid because of this act.
These old laws include the Animals Protection and Game Act 1921–22, the Injurious Birds Act 1908, and some others. You can look at the list to see all the laws that are no longer valid.
The laws that are no longer valid also include the Local Legislation Act 1951, the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act 1923, and some Statutes Amendment Acts from 1936, 1945, and 1946.
