Wildlife Act 1953

Miscellaneous

Schedule 3: Wildlife that may be hunted or killed subject to Minister's notification

You could also call this:

"Animals you can hunt or kill if you follow the rules"

The Wildlife Act 1953 has a list of wildlife that you can hunt or kill, but only if you follow the rules. This list is in a part of the Act called Schedule 3. The Minister is in charge of deciding what wildlife can be hunted or killed. You can find the list of wildlife in Schedule 3, which is divided into two parts. Part 1 has a list of birds and animals that you can hunt or kill, but only in certain areas or under certain conditions. Some of these areas are called upland game preserves and are listed in Part 2 of Schedule 3, which you can find by following the link to Part 2 of this schedule.
