The Minister can renew your facility licence for up to 5 more years if they are still happy with the things that were checked in section 40(1). You will get the renewal if the Minister is satisfied with those things. The Minister looks at those things to decide.

The Minister can also add more conditions to your licence when they renew it, and these conditions are the kind that are talked about in section 41. These conditions are added to make sure everything is safe and okay. You have to follow these conditions when your licence is renewed.
