As an enforcement officer, you have certain powers to make sure people follow the Outer Space and High-altitude Activities Act 2017. You can enter a launch facility or other premises to inspect the site and any vehicles or equipment. You can seize and detain any vehicles or equipment if you need to. You can also ask people to give you information or documents about launches or vehicles.

You can question people about launches or the operation of vehicles. You can test vehicles or equipment to make sure they are safe. Some rules from the Search and Surveillance Act 2012 also apply to you when you are doing your job.
