If you do not follow a direction to stop providing electricity or internet services to GBSI, you can commit an offence. This direction is given under section 83B. You will only commit an offence if you do not have a reasonable excuse for not following the direction.

If you commit this offence, you can get a fine. The fine is up to $5,000 if you are an individual. If you are a body corporate, the fine is up to $50,000.

You will get this fine if you are convicted of the offence. This means a court will decide you are guilty of not following the direction to stop providing electricity or internet services to GBSI.
