66Launching or procuring launch of payload without payload permit or overseas payload permit
A person commits an offence if the person—
- launches or procures the launch of a payload without a payload permit contrary to section 15; and
- knows or ought to know that a payload permit is required.
A person commits an offence if the person—
- launches or procures the launch of a payload without an overseas payload permit contrary to section 31; and
- knows or ought to know that an overseas payload permit is required.
A person who commits an offence against subsection (1) or (2) is liable on conviction,—
- in the case of an individual, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 1 year or a fine not exceeding $50,000, or both; or
- in the case of a body corporate, to a fine not exceeding $250,000.
