If someone gives or sends you a donation to help a candidate, you must pass it on to the candidate within 10 working days. This rule does not apply to the candidate themselves.   1. Every person, other than a candidate, to whom an electoral donation is given or sent must, within 10 working days after receiving the donation, transmit the donation to the candidate.
