You need to fill out a form if you were a candidate in an election. The form is called a return of electoral donations and expenses. You can find out more about this in section s 112A of the Local Electoral Act 2001. You have to list all the elections you stood for on a certain date. Then you have to make a return of all donations you got that are over $1,500. This includes the donor's name, address, and the amount and date of the donation. You also have to make a return of all your electoral expenses. This includes who you paid, why you paid them, and how much you paid. Some expenses, like radio or TV advertising, need to be listed separately.

Return of electoral donations

I make the following return of all electoral donations received by me that exceed $1,500:
