17Conduct of elections and polls for local authorities that are not territorial authorities

  1. Every election of 1 or more members of a local authority that is not a territorial authority by the electors of a local government area or poll of those electors must be conducted by the electoral officer for the local authority as provided in section 15 and either section 18 or section 19.
