You can look at the returns of electoral donations and expenses at the electoral officer's office. The electoral officer keeps these returns for 7 years after the election. They must make the returns available to the public during this time. You can get a copy of the returns in different ways. The electoral officer publishes the returns electronically or in another way they think is suitable. They also make copies available for you to look at. If you want a copy of one or more returns, you can ask the electoral officer for it. You might have to pay a charge for the copy, as set out in the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987. The electoral officer gets the returns from section 112A.
