32Content of application

  1. An application must include the following information:

  2. if the application is made by an individual,—
    1. the full name, residential address, date of birth, and occupation of that person; and
      1. evidence that satisfies the Registrar of the identity of that person (for example, a certified copy of that person’s driver licence or passport); and
        1. the proposed trading name of the applicant's motor vehicle trading business; and
          1. any further information and other material that may be prescribed:
          2. if the application is made by a company,—
            1. the name of the company, the date of its incorporation, the address of its registered office, and its principal type of business; and
              1. the unique number assigned to the company on its incorporation; and
                1. the full name, residential address, date of birth, and occupation of each person concerned in the management of the company; and
                  1. evidence that satisfies the Registrar of the identity of each person concerned in the management of the company (for example, a certified copy of each person’s driver licence or passport); and
                    1. the proposed trading name of the applicant's motor vehicle trading business; and
                      1. any further information and other material that may be prescribed.

                      2. For the purposes of subsection (1), full name has the meaning given in section 6(1), but the application must include the person’s full name as stated on their driver licence or passport.

                      3. The application must also—

                      4. state the address for service of the applicant, which address—
                        1. must identify the place by reference to its location in a street or road; and
                          1. must include the applicant’s email address; and
                            1. must not be that of a Post Office box or a document exchange; and
                            2. contain a statutory declaration that verifies the matters referred to in this section and is made by,—
                              1. if the application is made by an individual, that person; or
                                1. if the application is made by a company, any person concerned in the management of that company.
