37Duration of registration

  1. The registration of a motor vehicle trader is effective for a period of 12 months commencing on the date of registration unless the registration is—

  2. cancelled under section 42; or
    1. surrendered by the motor vehicle trader in accordance with section 46 or section 47.
      1. A motor vehicle trader's registration may be renewed for further periods, each not exceeding 12 months.
